CPD & DIGITAL ACCREDITATION

CPD

The Non-Surgical Symposium (NSS) has a proud history of providing cosmetic procedure specific Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to practitioners since 2011. The NSS CPD is benchmarked as the leader in the industry and the natural choice for leading cosmetic practitioners. With 45 hours of evidence-based CPD available at this year’s NSS, it is another reason not to miss the 2024 NSS at the Gold Coast, 14-16 June.

CPD POINTS

RACS Fellows, Specialist International Medical Graduates (SIMGs) and surgeons participating in this program must self-report within Educational Activities for 2024.

General Practitioners, Registered Nurses and Nurse Practitioners

For those attending the NSS Symposium you will be responsible for self-reporting directly to your relevant Society or Association. You will receive a certificate of attendance and a copy of the program which will be required for your submission

Credly digital accreditation

To celebrate your commitment to excellence and participation in the NSS CPD program, all cosmetic practitioners* will receive a digital badge as a verification of your attendance, at no extra charge.

NSS has partnered with Credly, a global leader in digital certification to bring the NSS digital badge that you can display. The authenticity and validity of this digital badge can be easily verified with a click of a button and serves as the NSS CPD certification, a vital quality assurance indicator.

This feature highlights to patients that you, their cosmetic practitioner, is committed to ongoing learning and remaining current in order to deliver evidence-based, safe and ethical treatments. With the imminent introduction of the updated AHPRA guidelines, it will become imperative for all cosmetic practitioners to distinguish themselves as dedicated to lifelong learning in non-surgical cosmetic procedures specific CPD.

Attending the NSS 2024 provides you the opportunity to accrue your CPD hours and receive the digital badge for social proof.

*The digital accreditation badge will only be available to cosmetic practitioner delegates who attend the full symposium in-person. Industry, media, and day registrations will not be eligible to receive the badge.

Digital accreditation FAQS

What are the benefits of a badge?

Representing your skills as a badge gives you a way to share your abilities online in a way that is simple, trusted and can be easily verified in real time. Badges provide employers and peers concrete evidence of what you had to do to earn your credential and what you’re now capable of.

How will I know if I’ve earned a badge?

You will receive an email notification from Credly (admin@credly.com) with instructions for claiming your badge and setting up your account.

Is there a fee to use Credly?

No. This is a service we provide to you, at no cost.

What’s to keep someone else from copying my badge and using it?

While badges are simply digital image files, they are uniquely linked to data hosted on Credly. This link to verified data makes them more reliable and secure than a paper-based certificate. It also eliminates the possibility of anyone claiming your credential and your associated identity.

Where and how can I share my badge through Credly?

You can share your badge directly from Credly to LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook; over email; embedded in a website or in your email signature.

Can I export badges issued through Credly to other badge-storing platforms?

Yes, you can download your badge from the Share Badge page. Your downloaded badge contains Open Badge Infrastructure (OBI) compliant metadata embedded into the image. This allows you to store your badge on other OBI-compliant badge sites, such as the Badgr Backpack.

I have a question about Credly. Where can I find support?

You can find tutorials and answers to additional questions here: support.credly.com
