Dr Ofir Artzi

Dr. Ofir Artzi is an internationally renowned expert in the field of lasers and aesthetic dermatology. After graduating from the Faculty of Medicine at the Technion in Haifa, Israel, he went on to specialize in Dermatology at Tel Hashomer Medical Centre in Israel.

Today, Dr. Artzi heads the centre for Aesthetic Dermatology at the department of Dermatology, Tel Aviv Medical centre. The Center for Aesthetic Dermatology is at the forefront of treatment, teaching and research in aesthetic dermatology.

Dr. Artzi has published many scientific medical articles and participates in many cosmetic clinical trials ranging from injectable cosmetic agents to lasers and topical therapies, including many clinical studies and FDA-trials.

Dr. Artzi has been voted by his peers as one of Israel Forbes Magazine Top Doctors in 2018 (including listings for cosmetic procedures as well as lasers).

Dr. Artzi is a member of many national and international dermatological and cosmetic professional associations and participates in many professional forums. He is the chairman of SCARS – the known international scar treatment conference.

He has been honoured as a guest speaker at numerous national and international aesthetic and dermatologic conferences.

Morocco

Dr Nabila Azib

Dr. Nabila Azib developed her clinical experience in close collaboration with Dr. Patrick Trévidic and is holding university degrees in lasers in dermatology, angiology and reconstructive surgery. She is member of the Expert2Expert group and was scientific director of the ICAAM Congress in Dubai for several years.

She has been lecturing internationally for many years and is member of several international scientific societies. As a plastic surgeon she is able to give deep insights into anatomy and the related importance of experience-oriented treatments.

Dr Ashish Bhatia

Dr. Ashish Bhatia is a Board-certified and fellowship trained dermatologist and dermatologic surgeon. He is an internationally recognised expert in dermatologic surgery and cosmetic surgery. His expertise includes facial and body aesthetic surgery, skin cancer therapy, Mohs and reconstructive surgery, laser surgery, and skin resurfacing procedures including scar reduction and revision. Dr. Bhatia has contributed to the advancement of techniques in facial reconstruction, scar revision, fat reduction, and the use of purified neurotoxins and fillers.

Dr Gabriela Casabona

Dr Gabriela Casabona is a dermatologist practicing in Spain.

She has dedicated the first 10 years of her career to mastering cosmetic rejuvenation of both the face and body. She then traveled to the USA to serve a variety of externships with experts in various procedures and technologies. Dr Casabona had spent a great deal of her time as a collaborator in the Laser department of Universidade ABC- Brazil. Since 2010, Dr Casabona shifted her career to more the surgical side. She spent much of the last 5 years in many training programs in the USA, Latin America and Europe furthering her expertise in skin cancer surgery, Mohs surgery, and honing her reconstruction skills (especially oculoplastics). She is also trained in cosmetic surgery including, fat grafting, endoscopic browlifting and blepharoplasty. For 15 Years Dr Casabona has built her own clinic where 85% of her patients are cosmetic, mainly fillers, botulinum toxin combined with technology treatments and the newest generation of thread lifting procedures. The other 15% are surgical patients (cosmetic and oncology). Dr Casabona is presently an International Speaker for, Merz Medical.

Dr Charlene DeHaven

Dr. Charlene DeHaven is board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. During her training, she received the Upjohn Clinical Award for Outstanding Resident of the Year.

Dr Saleem Loghdey

Saleem Loghdey is a Board-Certified Dermatologist originally from Cape Town. He got his medical degree at the University of Cape Town qualifying in 1995 and then completed his Dermatology residency at the University of Stellenbosch, Cape Town in 1999 becoming a Fellow of the College of Dermatologists of South Africa in 2003.

Dr Loghdey relocated to the United Kingdom in 2004 and was admitted to the UK Dermatologist Specialist Register in 2005. He has dual fellowship training in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Laser Surgery . He has a special interest in treating cutaneous sarcomas with Mohs surgery

Dr Jason Pozner

Jason Pozner, M.D., F.A.C.S., can truly claim aesthetic surgery and skin care as his life’s work. The son of a successful health spa and diet center physician in New Jersey.

Dr. Pozner is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the largest and most prestigious organization of board-certified plastic surgeons in the world as well as the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the American Society for Lasers in Medicine and Surgery. He has been a consultant or investigator for many aesthetic companies and member of several advisory boards.

Dr. Pozner graduated from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York with a Distinction in Research. He trained for five years in an intensive general surgery residency at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. He completed a Microsurgery Fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center in New York and his Plastic Surgery residency at New York’s Downstate Medical Center. He completed an additional fellowship in aesthetic and endoscopic plastic surgery in Maryland where he was an assistant professor of Plastic Surgery at the esteemed Johns Hopkins Medical Center. Dr Irene Gaile Robredo-Vitas

Irene Gaile Robredo-Vitas is a Board-Certified Dermatologist from the Philippines. She got her Medical degree at the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center in 2008 and then completed her Dermatology residency training at the Skin and Cancer Foundation, Inc. in 2012.

After passing the Dermatology Boards in 2013, she opened her own private practice in Makati City, Philippines called dermHQ and joined the Asian Hospital and Medical Center. After 2 years, she became a faculty member and a Clinical Instructor of the Skin and Cancer Foundation, Inc. Dermatology residency training program. In 2017, she opened another clinic with her colleagues in Taguig City, called BeautiqueMD.

Dr. Robredo-Vitas is a member of the Philippine Dermatological Society, Philippine Academy of Dermatologic Surgery Foundation, Inc., American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, Inc and International Society of Dermatologic Surgery.

Dr. Robredo-Vitas enjoys teaching and gives lectures here and abroad and has also started her own YouTube channel (Dr Gaile Robredo-Vitas). Dr Michael Somenek

Michael Somenek, M.D., is a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon in Washington, D.C. whose practice offers specialized cosmetic and reconstructive services. Dr. Somenek got an undergraduate degree in microbiology at the University of Miami and a medical degree at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, and he completed an intensive fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Chicago, Illinois. As an author of multiple peer-reviewed journal articles, textbook chapters, and presentations at national and international meetings, he has contributed extensively in his field.

Dr Patrick Trevidic

Dr. Patrick Trevidic is a Plastic surgeon based in Paris, France.
He is also Chairman of the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Department at Sainte Anne, one of the leading Hospital in Paris.

Over the last 15 years, Dr Trevidic has been instrumental as a key investigator in several anti- aging studies and has been at the forefront of many others. Working to promote evidence based medicine.

Dr. Trevidic has published more than 70 scientific articles in various periodicals and international journals and is often called upon to present his work at International congresses. In 2014, 2 of his presentations to the Cutting Edge Congress in NYC won prestigious awards.

Dr Trevidic is the Scientific Director of Expert2Expert (www.expert2expert.co.uk), the renowned noted European group of surgeons and dermatologists.

In 2010, through his role with Expert 2 Expert, Dr Trevidic published, with his colleagues, “Anatomy and botulinum toxin injections”, a reference book based on expert observations. Today, this title remains one of the best seller with a revised and augmented edition issued in 2016.

In 2011, Dr Trevidic directed the launch of the second volume about “Anatomy and Volumizing Injections”, the number one title in the collection, in 2013 “Anatomy and hand medical rejuvenation” and in 2014 the much awaited “Anatomy and lip enhancement”, already a best seller.

In 2017, Dr Trevidic with his colleagues, Dr Claudio DeLorenzi, Dr Berthold, Rzany, Dr Elena Karpova and Dr Criollo-Lamilla published a 5th book : “Anatomy and filler complications”. This title was a success from its launch and much awaited by the community due to the ever- increasing number of filler injections worldwide.

Dr Trevidic pioneered educational program around aesthetic dermatology and anatomy. Every year, several E2E training modules are directed by Dr Trevidic and his team for the benefit of international experts.

Dr. Trevidic is a professor and lecturer on surgery at several universities and schools of medicine in France and abroad.

Dr Steven Weiner

Dr. Weiner was born and raised in Los Angeles and attended UCLA for his undergraduate degree. After graduating Magna Cum Laude, he completed his medical degree at University of Michigan. His internship, residency, and fellowship training took place at the prestigious Johns Hopkins Hospital. For 2 years, he was appointed as a faculty member in the Department of Otolaryngology.
Dr. Weiner has 25 years of experience as a Facial Plastic Surgeon. In 2005, “he laid down his scalpel” to concentrate on nonsurgical aesthetic procedures. He currently divides his time between his active clinical practice, training other physicians, and lecturing in the US and abroad. Dr. Weiner enjoys innovating new techniques for injecting dermal fillers, and creating new treatment protocols for devices. He is currently working on developing new devices and procedures in conjunction with an aesthetic laser company.
Dr. Weiner is a researcher, lecturer, and trainer for Lutronic Corporation. He is the largest user of Infini, High Intensity Radiofrequency, in the US with over 1000 procedures performed in just under 4 years. He has written several articles and papers on the benefits of Infini for skin tightening, neck and jawline rejuvenation, as well as for acne scars.
In the field of dermal fillers, Dr. Weiner is one of the highest volume users of Gladerma’s family of products in the US. He travels throughout the US to lecture and train other physicians on how to use fillers safely and most effectively. He does similar work with Suneva for the filler, Bellafill, a PMMA filler with a 5 year indication. He has become a referral center for acne scars with his technique using Bellafill for correction of deep rolling scars and Infini for treatment of the remaining superficial, icepick, and boxcar scars.

This meeting is an Australasian Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS) educational activity that may contribute to your Continuing Professional Development (CPD). At the conclusion of the meeting, delegates will receive a Certificate of Attendance which can be used as supporting documentation when you submit your CPD claim.

Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) CPD

This educational activity has been approved in the RACS CPD Program. Registrants participating in this activity qualify for 18 Points in Maintenance of Knowledge and Skills. Participation in this activity will be populated into your RACS CPD Online.

Sessions will be streamed live from across Australia, New Zealand, and some international locations. Sessions will also be recorded.
