Abstract Submissions are

NOW OPEN!

We invite you to contribute to the Non-Surgical Symposium (NSS) 2025 by sharing your expertise, insights, and research findings through abstract submissions. Your participation will help elevate the program and foster professional growth and knowledge exchange.

Abstracts are welcomed from medical practitioners such as Surgeons, Dermatologists, Dentists, GPs, Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioners, Dermal Therapists and Clinicians, Practice Staff, and Industry Experts.

Please be aware that due to the high number of submissions each year, not all abstracts can be accepted for inclusion in the program.

To be considered, submissions must strictly follow the provided guidelines. Abstracts that do not meet these standards or lack substantive results (e.g., using phrases like “results pending” or “results to be discussed”) will not be accepted.

By submitting an abstract, you agree to its publication in event-related printed or digital materials and its distribution to NSS 2025 attendees.

Abstract Submissions Close: Wednesday 29 January 2025

Abstract format requirements:

Please organise your abstract submission as follows:

  1. Disclosures
  2. Aim/purpose (preferably one sentence)
  3. Introduction
  4. Method
  5. Results
  6. Conclusions (It is not satisfactory to state “The results will be discussed”)

Abstract submissions must include:

In your abstract submission you must disclose:

  • If the abstract has been previously submitted, published or presented.
  • Whether the presentation is industry supported or initiated.
  • Where applicable, all studies must have been approved by institutional committees on ethics of experimental and human/animal investigations.
  • Any conflicts of interest.

Abstract/s accepted will receive ASAPS Guest Speaker documentation and you will be required to disclose further information.

Registration requirement:

Speakers must be registered to attend the conference to be eligible to present. Please note that presentation of an abstract does not constitute any offer by ASAPS or the NSS to pay travel, accommodation or registration costs associated with the symposium and no presenter fee will be paid.

Judging Criteria:

Presentations will be selected based on scientific merit, clinical merit and topicality.

Presentation format:

If your abstract/s are selected, you agree that your session may be filmed in a customised studio to be published as an on-demand lecture rather than a live presentation.  All speakers should understand that there is no guarantee that their talk will be accepted for a live presentation and that the Committee review decision on abstracts is final.
