Our program is in the works and will be available on this website shortly.  You can expect that we will pull together a stellar line-up of international and local leading experts from right across the non-surgical cosmetic medicine spectrum.

This Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS) educational event provides Continuing Professional Development Points (CPD) for Specialist Plastic Surgeons and Registered Nurses / Nurse Practitioners.

Australia

Dr Niamh Corduff

Dr Niamh Corduff MB BS FRACS is the clinical director of the Cosmetic Revitalisation Clinic, Geelong and has been practicing as a Specialist Plastic Surgeon in private practice for 25 years.

She qualified from Charing Cross Medical School, the University of London, in 1984. She subsequently did her basic surgical training in the UK before emigrating to Australia in 1988. Niamh then completed her Plastic Surgery training in Australia in 1993 obtaining the FRACS. Since then she based her surgical practice in Geelong, Victoria with special interests in breast surgery and non surgical revitalisation.

Niamh is currently a member of the following organisations:

Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons Honorary membership

In 2004 Niamh became aware in her patients a need to provide non-surgical options for those who were seeking improvement in their facial appearance but did not want surgical intervention. She opened the Cosmetic Refinement Clinic, one of the first non-surgical clinics in Victoria and the first in Geelong. Her principle approach has always been a conservative one; not focusing on youthful features but helping her patients look healthy and well for their age. She applies her surgical anatomical knowledge to achieve natural looking outcomes.

Niamh enjoys educating others and is an international speaker at various educational forums, seminars and conferences for doctors and other health professionals presenting on cosmetic injectables. She writes academic papers and has contributed to surgical text books. In 2015 Niamh was appointed as a consultant to Merz. She lectures and trains internationally on their behalf.

Niamh also is a member of the Medical Advisory Board to Establishment Labs, the manufacturer of Motiva implants.

ITALY

Dr Francesca de Angelis

Doctor de Angelis, M.D., Ph.D.  is a Plastic Surgery Specialist qualified in Naples, Italy in 2005, with a Ph.D. in Regenerative surgery. She is  an active member of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS), of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS)  and of the Italian Society of Aesthetic Plastic  Surgery (AICPE). She has been working in the field of Laser surgery and aesthetic medicine since 2001, and she is involved in many clinical and experimental trials concerning new lasers technology research and new rejuvenating approaches, based on filler and combined techniques. She is Luminary and trainer for Galderma and Lumenis and she is an international speaker and member of various Advisory Boards.

USA

Dr Seemal Desai

Dr. Seemal Desai is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, and a Board Certified Dermatologist. He graduated with honors from Emory University. He received his medical training at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, and received his Doctor of Medicine degree with Magna Cum Laude with honors.
 
Following medical school, Dr. Desai completed his medical internship in Internal Medicine. He then went on to complete his residency at The University of Alabama at Birmingham, and served as Chief Resident for the Department of Dermatology.
 
Dr. Desai has been active on a local, state, and national level with numerous medical organizations. His major accomplishments have been with the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Medical Association, where he has held numerous elected and appointed positions. He is also actively involved in teaching and mentoring medical students and residents. He serves as Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
 
Dr. Desai is the author of numerous publications and has been invited to present at numerous international Dermatology events. His clinical interests include the treatment of vitiligo, and other disorders of pigmentation, psoriasis, acne, skin cancers, inflammatory skin rashes and phototherapy. Dr. Desai is very active in the local and national dermatologic community and is the current President of the Skin of Color Society, and President of the Texas Dermatological Society. In addition, he is a Past President of the Dallas/Ft. Worth Dermatological Society. He also serves on the Board of Directors of SkinPAC, the Congressional Policy Committee, and as Chair of the AAD Leadership Development Steering Committee. Most recently, Dr. Desai was elected to the American Academy of Dermatology Board of Directors, and will represent the interests of over 18,000 dermatologists worldwide. Dr. Desai was also appointed to serve on the US Food & Drug Administration, Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee (PCAC), and is the only dermatologist on this important hearing committee. He also serves as the Associate Editor of the Journal of Clinical & Aesthetic Dermatology and Pigment International, while also serving on numerous editorial advisory boards.
 
In his free time, Dr. Desai enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter and son, as well as travelling, trying new restaurants, meeting new people, playing trivia games, exercising and enjoying the outdoors. Dr. Desai takes great pride in providing his patients with the highest level of dermatologic care.

ISRAEL

Dr Nimrod Friedman

Dr Nimrod Friedman is a board certified Plastic Surgeon and a member of IPRAS, ISPS and ISAPS. His private clinic is based in Tel Aviv, Israel. Dr Friedman’s main fields of interest are Aesthetic Breast Surgery, Facial Rejuvenation and Body Contouring, both through surgeries, minimally invasive and non-invasive techniques.

Dr Friedman graduated medical school with honours and distinction and received several awards for outstanding academic achievements.

Dr Friedman is a consultant and Key Opinion Leader for several international companies and a frequent lecturer at meetings and workshops around the world.

HONG KONG

Dr Wilson Ho

Dr Ho Wai Sun, Wilson MBChB, FRCSEd, FCSHK, FHKAM (Surgery) Plastic Surgeon Hong Kong

Dr Ho is the director of The Specialists: Lasers, Aesthetic & Plastic Surgery, Hong Kong and is the honorary assistant professor of the Faculty of Medicine, The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

He earned his MBChB degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1990. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, the College of Surgeons of Hong Kong, and the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine.

Dr Ho has authored or co-authored over 50 articles in peer-reviewed journals and 3 book chapters, with his work appearing in the Lancet, Dermatologic Surgery, British Journal of Plastic Surgery, Burns, and Lasers in Surgery and Medicine. He has lectured extensively on injectables and light source devices, minimally invasive plastic surgery, as well as aesthetic breast surgery in regional and international meetings. In his practice, he is an enthusiastic exponent of minimally invasive plastic surgery and has pioneered the technique of using Botulinum Toxin A in facial slimming and endoscopic breast reconstruction after breast cancer surgery.

Dr Ho is a trainer in plastic surgery of the College of Surgeons of Hong Kong and a trainer in basic surgical skills for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He is an official trainer for Allergan Botox® Cosmetic, Galderma and Merz, Allergan Alliance for the Future of Aesthetics Global Executive Advisory Committee, Head of Faculty Allergan Academy Asia Pacific Advisory Board and the past chairman of the Allergan Asia Council on Breast Esthetics (AACE 2010). He was a committee member of the Hong Kong Society of Plastic and Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgeons, former board member of the Plastic Surgery Board of Hong Kong and treasurer of the Hong Kong Burns Association.

LONDON

Dr Ravi Jain

Dr Jain graduated from the Royal London Hospital, University of London in 1995. He practised as a GP before turning to full-time aesthetic practice in 2007 when he founded the award-winning Riverbanks Wellness Clinic, well known for facial aesthetics and body contouring.

Dr Jain, a global KOL, is the innovator of the Invisible Aesthetics® & R-Lift® injectable rejuvenation concepts as well as his 3 layer lip technique. As one of the first U.K. doctors to offer VASER liposuction since 2008, his skill base extends to body contouring. He is often called upon to share his expertise in business building and communication skills.

ISRAEL

Dr Eyal Kramer

Dr Eyal Kramer is a board certificate Plastic surgeon from Tel Aviv , Israel. He has completed his medical education in the Tel Aviv medical university, and fulfil his medical career both as a general surgeon and both as a combat doctor in the IDF, following those he continue to complete his plastic surgery internship in the Wolfson hospital , where he is until today a chief doctor and teacher for young doctors. With an excellent way to teach and explain to others,  In the past 15 years Dr Kramer have focused on face reconstruction , with an emphasis on risk management.

He has worked over the years as a trainer for the leasing aesthetics companies around the world, and nowadays he is the ambassador of Croma pharma leading their new innovation and future thinking in the aesthetics world.

In addition to his professional academic level , Dr Kramer is known to be one of the modest and honest person in the industry and that is why , people demand to come work with him

In his free time , Dr Kramer enjoys traveling on his motorcycle  to explore new territories

KOREA

Professor Hee-Jin Kim

Hee-Jin Kim, DDS, PhD, has been a Professor in the Division of Anatomy and Developmental Biology, Department of Oral Biology, Yonsei University College of Dentistry, Seoul, Korea since 1996. He obtained his DDS from the Yonsei University College of Dentistry in 1991, and his PhD from the Yonsei University Graduate School in 1996.

Now, he works as an Associate Editor of “Surgical & Radiologic Anatomy” and “European J Clinical Anatomy”, and is on the editorial board for “Clinical Anatomy”. In addition, he is a section editor of “International Scholarly Research Notices”. Professor Kim has authored or co-authored 15 textbooks and more than 250 articles that have appeared in peer-reviewed journals.

USA

Dr Nima Naghshineh

Dr. Nima’s approach to aesthetic and reconstructive surgery is one of combining artistry and advanced techniques to provide a natural, long-lasting result. His individualised, patient-oriented approach to surgery allows  patients to achieve the results they seek while maintaining a harmonious balance with the body or face. Dr. Nima has a special interest in facial aesthetics, rhinoplasty, breast procedures and reconstruction, body-contouring, and surgical treatments for migraine sufferers. He has published many works in the field, including book chapters, anatomic surgical drawings, and national presentations.

Dr. Nima is a graduate of the UPMC Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery training program. Along with the UT Southwestern and Harvard, UPMC was named one of the top three programs in the country by Doximity and US News and World Report. Dr. Nima has a unique background with studies in Biomedical Engineering and Psychology at Johns Hopkins University.

He obtained his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh while simultaneously receiving a Masters of Science in Clinical Research. He subsequently completed his plastic surgery training at UPMC. His other interests include surgical device innovation, regenerative medicine and entrepreneurship in plastic surgery. He has completed a fellowship at the Center for Innovation in Restorative Medicine (CIRM) where he focused on adipose stem cell therapies and FDA regulatory issues in plastic surgery.

Canada

Dr Andreas Nikolis

Dr Nikolis is an Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery at the Université de Montreal’s Division of Plastic Surgery.  His extensive training includes General Surgery (McGill University), Plastic Surgery (Université de Montreal), Craniofacial Surgery (Institute for Craniofacial and Reconstructive Surgery, Michigan) and an MSc in Experimental Surgery, (McGill University).

Dr Nikolis is a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon recognized by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, and is a member of multiple Societies including the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Canadian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.  He pursues his passion for education with his position as the Director of the Aesthetic Plastic Surgery training program at the Université de Montreal combined with global physician training in partnership with Galderma for aesthetics and specialist subjects such as ‘creating a gold star clinical practice’, ‘using a global approach to optimize patient outcomes’ and ‘recognizing and managing complications’. He holds multiple medical device patents, speaks internationally on a diverse range of aesthetic topics and continues his focus on evidence based medicine with an extensive presentation and publication record. 

UK

Dr Tapan Patel

Dr Tapan Patel is an Aesthetic Physician based in London, having qualified 22 years ago. He is the owner of the multi award winning PHI Clinic and is an International Key Opinion
Leader.

With more than 18 years’ experience in the field, he has been a part of the Allergan Medical Institute since its inception in 2014, and continues to deliver workshops globally. He has built a reputation for creating natural yet impactful results.

USA

Dr David Sieber

Focusing on cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, breast, and body, Dr David Sieber is one of few double board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeons in the San Francisco Bay Area with specialized fellowship training in cosmetic surgery. He has completed further training in the latest non-surgical procedures including dermal fillers, botulinum toxins, and laser skin rejuvenation.

Dr Sieber is a graduate of Loyola University-Stritch School of Medicine and completed a five-year residency in general surgery at Loyola University Medical Center. Board certified by the American Board of Surgery, he then went on to complete an additional three-year residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Minnesota as well as a one-year aesthetic surgery fellowship at the top-ranked University of Texas Southwestern program in Dallas under the mentorship of some of the most highly regarded and world-renowned plastic surgeons. With this strong foundation, Dr Sieber went on to become certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

In order to provide his patients with the best possible care, Dr Sieber is adamant about understanding and investigating the latest trends and technologies in plastic surgery. He received the award for best research paper during the 2015 calendar year by the Aesthetic Surgery Journal editorial board and serves on committees for the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) and Aesthetic Surgery Education and Research Foundation (ASERF). He is also a peer reviewer for both the Journal of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as well as the Aesthetic Surgery Journal. Dr. Sieber was the recipient of the inaugural Frederic Brandt, MD Memorial Scholarship in recognition of his commitment to the ongoing education and training of aesthetic physicians.

Dr Grant Stevens

Dr. Grant Stevens is the founder and Medical Director of Marina Plastic Surgery and The Orange Twist Institute; A Medical Spa in Marina Del Rey, California. He is also a Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of Southern California; Chairman of the USC-Marina Aesthetic Surgery Fellowship and the Director of the USC Division of Aesthetic Surgery.  He has been elected by his peers into the “The Guide to Top Doctors” and Castle Connolly’s “Top Doctor Guide” recognising him as one of the best plastic surgeons in America and is one of the select few to be featured in “Plastic Surgery:  The World’s Top Surgeons & Clinics.” Dr. Stevens is an active member at Marina Del Rey Hospital, where he is the past Chairman of the Department of Surgery, the Chairman of the Liposuction Committee, and the Medical Director of The Breast Center. He is also on staff at St. John’s Medical Center, the Marina Outpatient Surgery Center and USC.

Dr. Stevens is on the board of directors of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, serving as president elect. He is also third vice president and on the board of directors of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS).

Dr. Stevens graduated with honors from Washington University Medical School in St. Louis where he was awarded the Senior Prize in Surgery. He completed his general surgery training at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, then returned to Washington University-Barnes Hospital where he completed a Fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery with Dr. Paul Weeks, Dr. Leroy Young, Dr. Tom Mustoe, Dr. Jeffrey Marsh, and Dr. R. Christie Wray.

He is a board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the International College of Surgeons.  He was appointed by the governor of California to the Medical Board of California Medical Quality Review Board.  Dr. Stevens is an ASAPS and ISAPS Traveling Professor and has been an invited visiting professor at numerous U.S. and international universities.

Dr. Stevens has authored more than 90 articles and chapters on aesthetic plastic surgery.  He has also lectured at numerous international, national and regional meetings. Dr. Stevens is a member of many medical societies, including the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, American Society of Plastic Surgeons, International College of Surgeons, American College of Surgeons, and American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery.

Dr. Stevens is the past Chairman of the California Medical Association Advisory Panel on Plastic Surgery.  He received the California State Assembly and the California State Senate Certificate of Recognition.  He has also received the Special Congressional Certificate of Recognition and the Distinguished Service Citation from the Medical Board of California.

He has been interviewed for articles that have appeared in many magazines, including Time, USA Today, People, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Glamour, Vogue, Allure, Cosmetic Surgery Times, Business Week, Men’s Fitness, LA Times Magazine, Discovery, and numerous newspapers.  He has appeared on more than 125 television programs including CNN, Discovery, 60 Minutes, MSNBC, The Learning Channel, PBS Nightly Business Report, and many other TV and radio interviews.

Dr Hema Sundaram

Hema Sundaram, M.D., F.A.A.D. is a fellowship-trained board certified dermatologist, and the founder/director of her aesthetic dermatology practice in suburban Washington, D.C. She holds masters and medical degrees with honors from the University of Cambridge in England. Her subsequent training includes a dermatology residency at the University of Chicago, post-doctoral research in molecular biology, and a medical staff research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health during which she served as a Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Public Health Service. Dr. Sundaram has received awards for her clinical and research work. She feels fortunate to maintain an active involvement in medical research and education, serving as a Visiting Professor for the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS) and on its Education Work Group; the IMCAS Paris, Asia and China Scientific Committees; International Society of Dermatologic Surgery (ISDS) Board of Directors; as 2013 President and on the Scientific Board for the FACE2FACE congress; and on Advisory Boards for other congresses in the US and overseas

Dr. Sundaram is a Principal Investigator for FDA studies, and a Chair and Course Director for physician education initiatives. She speaks nationally and internationally at dermatology and plastic surgery conferences and is an advisor to Medscape, the Dermatology Education Initiative, The HealthCentral Network online and Fitness magazine. Dr. Sundaram is an Associate Editor for the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology, Editorial Advisor to Prime and other journals, and author of a book, Face Value [Rodale], which was honored by the National Press Club. Her medical publications include chapters and original papers on fillers, toxins, lasers and cosmeceuticals. Her practice is noted for its charitable donations.

FRANCE

Dr Patrick Trevidic

Dr Patrick Trevidic is a Plastic surgeon based in Paris, France.

He is also Chairman of the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Department at Sainte Anne, one of the leading Hospital in Paris.
Over the last 15 years, Dr Trevidic has been instrumental as a key investigator in several anti-aging studies and has been at the forefront of many others. Working to promote evidence based medicine.

Dr. Trevidic has published more than 70 scientific articles in various periodicals and international journals and is often called upon to present his work at
International congresses. In 2014, 2 of his presentations to the Cutting Edge Congress in NYC won prestigious awards.

Dr Trevidic is the Scientific Director of Expert2Expert (www.expert2expert.co.uk), the renowned noted European group of surgeons and dermatologists.

In 2010, through his role with Expert 2 Expert, Dr Trevidic published, with his colleagues, “Anatomy and botulinum toxin injections”, a reference book based on expert observations. Today, this title remains one of the best seller with a revised and augmented edition issued in 2016.

In 2011, Dr Trevidic directed the launch of the second volume about “Anatomy and Volumizing Injections”, the number one title in the collection, in 2013 “Anatomy and hand medical rejuvenation” and in 2014 the much awaited “Anatomy and lip enhancement”, already a best seller.

In 2017, Dr Trevidic with his colleagues, Dr Claudio DeLorenzi, Dr Berthold, Rzany, Dr Elena Karpova and Dr Criollo-Lamilla published a 5th book : “Anatomy and filler complications”. This title was a success from its launch and much awaited by the community due to the ever-increasing number of filler injections worldwide.

Dr Trevidic pioneered educational program around aesthetic dermatology and anatomy. Every year, several E2E training modules are directed by Dr Trevidic and his team for the benefit of international experts.

Dr. Trevidic is a professor and lecturer on surgery at several universities and schools of medicine in France and abroad.

USA

Dr Steven Weiner

Dr. Weiner was born and raised in Los Angeles and attended UCLA for his undergraduate degree. After graduating Magna Cum Laude, he completed his medical degree at University of Michigan. His internship, residency, and fellowship training took place at the prestigious Johns Hopkins Hospital. For 2 years, he was appointed as a faculty member in the Department of Otolaryngology.

Dr. Weiner has 25 years of experience as a Facial Plastic Surgeon. In 2005, “he laid down his scalpel” to concentrate on nonsurgical aesthetic procedures.  He currently divides his time between his active clinical practice, training other physicians, and lecturing in the US and abroad. Dr. Weiner enjoys innovating new techniques for injecting dermal fillers, and creating new treatment protocols for devices. He is currently working on developing new devices and procedures in conjunction with an aesthetic laser company.

Dr. Weiner is a researcher, lecturer, and trainer for Lutronic Corporation. He is the largest user of Infini, High Intensity Radiofrequency, in the US with over 1000 procedures performed in just under 4 years. He has written several articles and papers on the benefits of Infini for skin tightening, neck and jawline rejuvenation, as well as for acne scars.

In the field of dermal fillers, Dr. Weiner is one of the highest volume users of Gladerma’s family of products in the US. He travels throughout the US to lecture and train other physicians on how to use fillers safely and most effectively. He does similar work with Suneva for the filler, Bellafill, a PMMA filler with a 5 year indication. He has become a referral center for acne scars with his technique using Bellafill for correction of deep rolling scars and Infini for treatment of the remaining superficial, icepick, and boxcar scars.

CPR WORKSHOPS
Accredited course: HLTAID001 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation

There are 2 groups per time slot, with maximum 18 participants in each group. This course is for Health Care Professionals with underpinning knowledge.

About the CPR Workshops

Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) includes Automated External Defibrillation awareness.
Learn to provide CPR on a person who is unconscious and not breathing normally.
You will perform CPR on an adult and baby manikto learn the alternative methods for delivering rescue breaths.
 
Each Participant will receive a copy of the Basic Life Support Manual on the Day.
 
This course For Health Care Professionals or customers re certifying their CPR for the second or third time
 

What does the course include?

This course includes:
  • Legal issues
  • Infection control
  • DRSABCD action plan
  • Managing the unconscious breathing casualty
  • Resuscitation (CPR) on an adult and baby manikin
  • AED Awareness
  • Terminology and Safety when using an AED
  • Preparation of a casualty prior to using an AED and practice

Assessment

Please note that for the assessment: 100% Pass Mark is required.
The assessment process is a combination of a theory assessment and multiple practical scenarios.
Note: CPR adult assessment must be completed on the floor.

For the NSS 2019, workshop bookings are available during initial registration.

Cancellation Policy

Important Registration Cancellation Deadlines

Registration cancellations received up to 2nd May 2019 will receive a full refund, less $300.00 administration fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations received after 2nd May 2019 – this includes cancellation of any paid workshops/events such as the Gala Dinner. As an alternative to cancellation, registrations may be transferred to another person (for the same registration category) before 18th May 2019 without receiving any extra cost penalty. Please note that no credit card surcharges will be refunded at any time.

All fees are in Australian dollars inclusive of GST.

The members of the ASAPS Council, CPCA Board and The Production House Events do not accept any liability for any losses incurred pre, post or during the Symposium due to unforeseen cancellation or postponement. In the event of the Symposium being cancelled, no refunds will be issued. All available funds will be credited towards a future symposium/s held by ASAPS and CPCA.

Registration fee does not include accommodation, meals for partners and extra tickets for the Welcome Reception and Gala Dinner.

Practice staff are dermal therapists and management staff performing non-surgical procedures. All practice nurses and staff must have their registrations verified by a doctor. Registration will only be confirmed upon receipt of verification. Registration costs at the time of Practice Nurses and Staff initial registration will be honoured regardless of the date of the Doctor’s verification.

Please note there is no entry to the industry exhibition hall without registration to the conference.

Terms & Conditions

1. Registration entitlements:

All registration categories include the following:

  • 3 days entry to the 2025 Non-Surgical Symposium
  • Morning, lunch and afternoon break catering
  • One ticket to the Welcome Reception  
  • Opportunity to purchase tickets for yourself and a guest to the Gala Dinner
  • Entry to the trade exhibition across the Symposium  
  • Delegate welcome pack (name badge, satchel and electronic certificate of attendance post-event)
  • Access to the full program via the Symposium App

2. Procedure:

Registration confirmation

Your completed registration and successful payment will be automatically acknowledged via email with confirmation attaching a tax invoice and receipt. If your email does not come through to your inbox, please check your junk mail settings. Your registration will only be confirmed upon full payment of fees.

Name badge

Each delegate will receive a name badge when they check in at the registration desk.  The badge will be your official pass to obtain entry to all sessions and social functions.

3. Cancellation policy:

  • Cancellations must be notified in writing to the Symposium Managers at [email protected].
  • Registration – Cancellations before 13 March 2025 will incur a $150 cancellation fee. Cancellations from 14 March 2025 to 28 May 2025 will incur a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations on or after 29 May 2025 will receive no refund.
  • Social Events – Payments are non-refundable as at 13 May 2025.

4. Payment Options:

Credit Card

Please note all online registrations require immediate payment by credit card. Accepted credit cards are MasterCard, Visa and American Express. Please note all transactions by credit card will appear on your statement as payment to ‘Conference by Arinex’.

Invoice

Payment by invoice is available on the billing and payment section of the form. Upon completion of the form, you will receive a confirmation letter with the attached invoice.

5. Code of Conduct:

The Organiser of NSS 2025 (the “Event”) reserves the right to remove from the venue/Event at any time any attendee deemed to be causing, or potentially causing, a disturbance or exhibiting disruptive or inappropriate behaviour. Such removal does not constitute a right to refund of any fees paid. Please view the Code of Conduct which all attendees are expected to comply with.

6. Visa requirements:

All visitors to Australia must have a valid visa to travel to and enter Australia. Please note that, for international participants, to obtain an Australian visa an invitation letter is not required. Once you have registered and paid the registration fees in full then your confirmation of registration or tax invoices for payment of registration fees is sufficient to lodge with your visa application.

7. Privacy:

Australia operates under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), as amended, and the Privacy Amendment (Notifiable Data Breaches), 2017.  The objective of these is to protect the right of the individual to privacy of their information.

Europe operates under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (Regulation (EU) 2016/679), a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy for all individuals within the European Union. The GDPR aims primarily to give protection to citizens over their personal data.  The legislation was adopted on 27 April 2016.

The Symposium Managers comply with these legislations and are committed to protect the right of the individual to privacy of their information.

Arinex will not sell your personal information to third parties.  If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please email us and we will promptly correct the information.  You may also withdraw your consent for use of your information by advice to us in writing.

Why do we wish you to provide your information?

We require your information to facilitate provision of information to you regarding the Symposium and to facilitate your participation in the Symposium. Information collected in respect of your proposed participation in any aspect of the Symposium will be used for the purposes listed below.  You can give or withhold your consent for each or all of these uses.  Please indicate your preferences when completing your registration form but please note that we will be unable to forward any information relating to the Symposium or to communicate with you regarding your registration if you select ‘no’ to point 1.

What we will do with your information?

  • Planning and conduct of the Symposium including arrangements for your participation (e.g. accommodation booking);
  • In the Delegate List published:
  • May also be provided to organisers of future occurrences of this Symposium ;
  • May be used to provide you with information of other relevant events in your area of interest.

Important Notes:

The parties who will have access to your information (subject to your preference selections on above points) are the Symposium Managers, the Symposium host organisation (points 1 and point 4), delegates, sponsors and exhibitors of the Symposium (point 2) and any future organisers of the Symposium (point 3).

The parties mentioned above will rely on your above consent indications for the purposes of compliance.

You may withdraw your granular consent at any time by notice in writing to the Symposium Managers.

You are entitled to access the information held by written application to the Symposium Managers.

8. Insurance:

Registration fees do not include insurance.  It is strongly recommended that at the time you register for the NSS 2025 and book your travel you take out an insurance policy of your choice.  The policy should include:

  • Loss of fees/deposit through cancellation of your participation in the event or through cancellation of the Symposium.
  • Loss of international/domestic air fares through cancellation for any reason,
  • Failure to utilise tours or pre-booked arrangements due to airline delay,
  • Force Majeure or any other reason,
  • Medical expenses (including sickness and accident cover),
  • Loss or damage to personal property,
  • Additional expenses and repatriation should travel arrangements have to be altered,
  • Medical expenses.

The Symposium Managers cannot take any responsibility for any participant failing to arrange their own insurance. This insurance is to be purchased in your country of origin.
