Well, it promised to be a noteworthy event and it delivered! With a plethora of national and international speakers, the who’s who of the industry both presenting and networking, the 2017 Non-Surgical Symposium at the Gold Coast Convention Centre last weekend was an absolute blast.

As usual, I was able to meet with some great surgeons, practitioners and device company reps to get the latest news and industry goss. Completely overwhelmed, once again, by the dedication, enthusiasm and momentum the aesthetics industry has, and honoured to be a part of it.

2017 Non-Surgical SymposiumSome of the highlights included our hugely respected Aussie surgeons. Dr Mark Magnusson who also ran the Live Injecting Workshop and is current President of ASAPS, is always dynamic, engaging and holds the attention of the entire room. Dr Steven Liew is an injecting master (just ask me – he did mine!) and he’s always fascinating to listen to, as was Dr Niamh Cordufftalking about Beauty in the Ageing Australian Woman: the 12 point guide to Revitalisation. Of course I can’t not mention Dr Tahl Humes on Combining lasers and injectables for full facial rejuvenation, Dr Julius Few on combining surgical and non-surgical body contouring techniques, Dr Patricia Ogilvie on the “other face” of Botulinum Toxin.

2017 Non-Surgical SymposiumI was able to interview and chat with HEAPS of surgeons, practitioners and industry people and can’t wait to bring you my videos, podcasts and blogs over the coming weeks.

Of course, the Gala Ball was too much fun and was where we could all let our hair down and appreciate what a special event this really is. Thanks to the team at The Production House Events – they never cease to amaze! As I’ve said before just when you think it can’t get any better, they just go that little bit further – they’re friggin amazeballs!

Already looking forward to next year!! If you haven’t already, make sure you save the date.
